While the Lakers are in a difficult situation, the franchise has just learned some bad news in the Western Conference. No respite for JJ Redick’s men, who will have to act.
With many defeats in the last meetings, the Lakers now have a record of 12 wins and 9 losses. But when we see the content of their game in recent games, we can say that JJ Redick’s men are doing well for the moment. Offensively, the franchise is in a fairly complex situation.
We can mention LeBron James, who missed his last 19 three-pointers for example. This says a lot about the King’s form, with some believing he needs to rest and take a step back for a few days at least. Everything is possible in the future, especially since the franchise NBA must deal with injuries as a bonus.
Another problem for the Lakers!
Christian Wood still hasn’t played this season, Jaxson Hayes will be out for several weeks following an ankle problem, while Jarred Vanderbilt… isn’t doing any better. Operated months ago, the winger was expected to be back for the first match of the season. But as some suspected, there was a relapse.

This is obviously a problem, as Vanderbilt is known for its defense and overall energy on the floor. Redick and the fans were counting on him a lot this season, but they will all have to be patient according to information from Shams Charania. His return was further delayed as the insider explains.
@ShamsCharania : “Lakers winger Jarred Vanderbilt suffered a fluid infiltration in his knee during his rehabilitation and is now aiming for a return fairly early in January. »
It’s better than nothing for the franchise, but it’s a new blow for the rest of December, knowing that part of the roster is already absent. Among supporters, trading is obligatory.
@RedickGotNext : “You had a good career…”
@SixthManJake : “So the Lakers have been lying since June? Nothing new »
@thyonlybossman : “Just need to trade it now”
Jarred Vanderbilt is still far from a return according to Shams Charania. A massive blow for the Lakers, not spared from injuries for the moment. The franchise could quickly put together a trade to try to get back on track.
