Arenas did not have its best game in Merkatondoa, but managed to get a point that allows it to remain at the top of the table, tied on points with Eibar B. After Miguel’s goal for Izarra at the beginning of the second half, the team Getxotarra tied immediately through Collado, although the crossbar teamed up three times with Ibai Gómez’s team to avoid defeat in Estella.
The Navarrese team scored the first chance after five minutes thanks to Iker Hernández’s high shot. However, the Biscayan team dominated the game in the initial stretch, with long possessions and generating danger in strategic plays. In one of them, Ibarrondo received the ball from a corner and shot from the edge of the area, although his shot went completely off target.

After half an hour of play, Izarra returned to the fray through Arano. The Navarrese winger tried to surprise from afar and his shot hit the crossbar directly. It was not the last local chance of the first half, as Galindo had to deflect a shot from Eneko on the stroke of half-time.
The second act began in a hectic manner. Five minutes after the restart, Arbeloa won a ball into space and Galindo left the goal free to clear it. Unfortunately, Miguel was attentive to the clearance and scored with a left footed shot into an empty goal.
Ibai Gómez’s squad reacted immediately and tied three minutes later. Again in a blackboard action, Uzkudun combed a corner kick to the far post and found Collado. The Eibar youth player finished first with the outside of his boot and tied the score.
From there, Arenas took a step forward and sought to complete the comeback in the following minutes. The constant attacks from behind by Vicario and Paul gave the wings an advantage and the winger Zabaleta got tired of placing crosses from the left side, but the attackers were unable to prevail over the Izarra defense at any time.
In an isolated play, in the 66th minute, Endika was able to put the hosts ahead again with a header that hit the crossbar. The second shipment to the wood for the blue and white team.
The final moments left a worse image of the Getxo team, which could have lost the game in the last breath. Iker Hernández hit a volley from a lateral cross and hit the third crossbar for Izarra. Immediately afterwards, the referee declared the end of the match.
