Rio – The new president of FlemishLuiz Eduardo Baptista, criticized the way Arrascaeta received the team’s number 10 shirt and estimated that the club lost between R$10 and R$12 million as a result. Bap showed that Rubro-Negro was not prepared to cash in on the news by stating that no store knew about the Uruguayan’s change in number.

“Two years ago, I brought this idea to the president (Landim), the number 10 shirt has to be Arrascaeta’s. He said: ‘It’s early, Diego will be with us a lot’. I said: ‘When we give for Arrascaeta, we must buy 1 million shirts and put the number 10 and the name De Arrascaeta'”, said Luiz Eduardo Baptista.

Arrascaeta received 10 from Flamengo last Monday (16). President Rodolfo Landim made a video call with the Uruguayan, who was in Italy on vacation, and made the announcement.
