The basketball course opened by Atom Academy, which has been operating at Çine Indoor Sports Hall for a while, to contribute to child development, continues at full speed. Children who receive basketball training under the supervision of course instructors Adem Kılıç, Caner Akbaş, Bahadır Balbay and Berat Açıkgöz both learn and have fun. Children who socialize together and receive basketball training are promising for the future. The course, which supports children’s physical development and improves their balance and coordination, also teaches children to be disciplined and instills self-confidence in children with plan and strategy development skills, socialization and team work.

Talking about the benefits of basketball on child development, course instructor Adem Kılıç said, “When it comes to basketball, the first thing that comes to mind is that this sport increases height. But basketball can give children much more than physical development. He emphasized the importance of education by saying, “In addition to physical contributions such as muscle development, bone development, endurance, balance and coordination, mental contributions such as focus, teamwork, motivation and competition are the prominent advantages of the sport of basketball.” Adem Kılıç stated that they are always open to children who want to participate in the course and that they continue their activities.
