Get ready for an exciting start too the new year! The akita Northern Happinets are hosting a special public viewing event on Sunday,January 5th,2025,at the Akita Base Center alve. This event promises a unique experience, bringing together the worlds of professional basketball and baseball.
A Stellar Lineup
Joining the Happinets for this event are Akita Prefecture’s sports ambassadors, Masanori Ishikawa and Yasutaka Ishiyama of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. Adding to the star power is Hanshin Tigers player Daichi Ishii, also a native of akita City. This trio of talented athletes will be on hand to interact with fans, share their insights, and cheer on the Happinets as they take on the Hiroshima Dragonflies in a thrilling B.LEAGUE matchup.

Pre-game excitement: The event kicks off at 1:00 PM with an opening talk by the baseball stars, followed by a cheer practice session led by the Akita Northern Happinets cheer dance team. Live game experience: Catch all the action of the Akita northern Happinets vs. Hiroshima Dragonflies game live on the big screen, starting at 2:05 PM.
Post-game fun: After the game, the baseball players will engage in a post-game talk, followed by a special autograph session.
