The Agudo City Council, in collaboration with the Provincial Council and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, in their desire to promote badminton, organized the first day of the Provincial in the southern zone.
Badminton is increasingly presented as an alternative to be taken into account in municipalities with a small population and the participating towns were Alamillo, Chillón and Agudo.
The event had a participation of 42 players, between 8 and 16 years old, where all the game tables were made with a previous group phase and later eliminations. The matches were played in the best of three sets to 21 points and there were really exciting moments.
A sporting day with many emotions, where one went quickly from sadness to joy or vice versa. The kids relieved tension and were able to enjoy a beautiful and very demanding sport both physically and mentally. The list of winners was distributed among the participating entities, and was as follows:
