Gold and Bronze at the 2nd Level Challenge Tournament in SA Lodigiano
Thirteen Blucelesti athletes took part in the competition
LODI – The team from the Badminton & Croquet Club of Lecco took part in the SA Level Challenge in Lodiwith the participation of thirteen athletes. In this competition, the sports club won a gold and bronze medals.
Paolo Milani conquers the first step of the podium in the B level mixed doubles, paired with Lara Torresi (Brescia Sport Più). After having passed the groups and entered the main draw, the pair won the final against each other week (Junior BC MI) e Ustynova (Pol di Nova), with a clear 21-8, 21-16. In the A level men’s singles category and in the B level men’s doubles category, however, he failed to get through the groups.
Positive debut for two young athletes: Sergio Curreriten years old, wins a bronze medal in the U11 men’s amateur singles tournament, while the eleven-year-old Arturo Todeschini stands out in the D level men’s singles, in the three-way round robin. Arturo wins a hard-fought match against Dall’Oglio (New Sport), with a 22-20, 24-22, and in the D level men’s doubles, paired with Daham Yashodha Kandeunfortunately he doesn’t manage to get through the group.
Francesco Tomasello and Federico Lazzarini they fail to get through the groups in men’s singles and men’s doubles at A level. Nicolò Borin reaches the quarterfinals in the C level men’s doubles, but fails to make it past the groups in the men’s singles and mixed doubles. Gloria Barlassina does not pass the groups in women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles at level C, as well as Angela del Pozzo in the same categories.
Giacomo Alippi does not pass the groups in men’s singles and men’s doubles at level C, and in mixed doubles at level D. Emanuela Greco does not advance beyond the brackets in women’s singles, women’s doubles and D-level mixed doubles. Daham Yashodha Kande does not pass the group in the D level men’s singles. Finally, Paolo Poletti and Stefano Calegari they do not pass the group in the 35 Masters men’s doubles.
