After next Friday, the whole of the Netherlands will celebrate the Christmas holidays. BC Mariken’s badminton offering looks slightly different these two weeks. In this overview we list when you can contact us.
Seniors
There is no badminton for seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Christmas holidays. On second Friday they can go to the Jan Massinkhal. That room will not be available on Friday, December 20, so badminton will be cancelled. There will be free play on Friday, December 27 (8:00 PM – 11:00 PM). And on Friday, January 3, a regular game evening will take place, including training.
There are also two fun activities planned around the Christmas holidays. There will be a real Christmas pub quiz in the canteen of Sports Hall de Boog on Thursday, December 19. You can also come and play in advance. On Friday, January 10, we will organize a New Year’s tournament in the Jan Massinkhal.
G-badminton
For the G-badminton, badminton is at a standstill during the Christmas holidays. The training sessions will resume on Tuesday, January 7.
P badminton
The P badminton group also has a two-week badminton holiday. We will start the training sessions again on Monday 6 January.
Juniors
There are no training sessions for juniors during the Christmas holidays. However, on Friday, January 3, there will be the BC Mariken Youth Team Tournament in the Ark van Oost, a fun day full of competitions especially for beginners. The tournament will be held from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Register no later than Friday, December 22 by sending a message to the youth committee.
