This Saturday,December 14th,the Amiens UC Badminton club will be buzzing with activity as it hosts a grand Prix singles tournament at the Auguste Janvier gymnasium.
Organized by the Somme Badminton departmental Committee, this event promises to be a showcase of badminton talent. Approximately sixty players from various skill levels, ranging from R5 ranked competitors to those just starting their badminton journey, will converge on amiens for a day of intense competition.
The tournament, structured by skill level, will run throughout the day, offering a thrilling spectacle for badminton enthusiasts. Notably,around thirty players representing the Amiens UC Badminton club will be participating,adding a home-court advantage to the mix.
The day’s program features both men’s and women’s singles matches, with the first serve scheduled for 9:00 am.
This tournament underscores the growing popularity of badminton in the region, providing a platform for players of all levels to test their skills and compete for glory.

It’s a great testament to the growing popularity of badminton in the region.
