OAXTEPEC.- With Baja Californian Kassandra Espinoza obtaining the silver medal in the First Strength category, 48 kilo division during the closing day of the Mexican Judo Gala, the Baja California delegation returned with 9 medals from the competition held in the Poliforum of the Dorados Club in the municipality of Oaxtepec, Morelos.
“We returned very satisfied with the effort of the boys, we fulfilled what was projected, there was an excellent training and the results we were looking for were given, we took advantage of the event as part of the preparation for the CONADE Nationals next year,” said Josan Fajer, president of the State Judo Association.
The Baja Californian judokas won 3 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 more bronze medals, in a competition that they also attended with the aim of adding points in the national ranking and being eligible to participate in international competitions.
At CONADE 2024 Nationals, the team contributed to the medal table with 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals, a performance that allowed the team to be recognized as the third best program in Mexico.
