FC Barcelona has a lot of problems… As revealed in recent days, the work on the Camp Nou is still far from finished and Barça will not be able to return to its stadium in January as initially planned. Only, as indicated Markthe Barcelona town hall has already requisitioned the Montjuic stadium for various events which will take place during this second part of the season, which prevents Barça from playing there.
Without a fixed stadium, Barça is therefore studying options, such as playing in the Espanyol stadium, the only other stadium large enough nearby. The club is even thinking of going to Mestalla (Valencia) or Madrid, to the Civitas Metropolitano, if necessary. Another problem: Barça must act quickly and have a definitive stadium for the rest of the season, because UEFA does not allow clubs to change stadiums once the elimination rounds have started…
