After the failed promotion to Serie B and the defeat in the semi-final against Livorno, many thought of going shopping in Siena, with Estra set to leave from Serie C in 2025. But that won’t be the case. Dario Osti, the Juventus captain who practically missed the entire season in 2024 due to a torn cruciate, had requests from Serie B, as did Paul Castillejos, while a direct opponent from Serie C was even moving on the Cuban Alejandro Dube Alvarez. All three will leave from Siena, with whom they have a one-year contract. The unofficial answer came from a ‘hit and run’ in Trentino, immortalized on the social networks of the Sienese baseball club, to celebrate the birthday of the Juventus third baseman Anthony Pichardo, which saw some players from the Juventus team reunited (as well as Castillejos, Dube Alvarez and Pichardo also Paulino) together with president Giusti and deputy Bonazzola. Leaving Siena will instead be the two receivers Yeison Rosario Ramirez, and the Mancianese Dario Mancini, who after four years and a handful of appearances in the 2024 championship, has asked to be vacated to join BBC Grosseto in Serie A. Rosario is already training with the Porcia Astros. Shortstop Miguel Antonio Bonilla Castro will also have to recover from the injury suffered during the 2024 season (which he ended with gritted teeth) and will not be part of the 2025 Juventus team.
