Two days of women’s basketball in the region with more players and lots of basketball culture for the thirteen yellow and blue girls who were hosted by the families of VBS Varese and Basket Olgiate.
Having left Liguria on Saturday morning with the curiosity and enthusiasm of facing new teams, the yellow-blues find themselves already at midday facing the hosts Vbs Varese. The match is balanced, the Ligurians lead with minimal gaps throughout the match but at the end they are caught and overcome right at the siren, the final result 46-44. Lunch at the restaurant and in the afternoon they play against the strong BF Milano team who deservedly wins, earning themselves the final.
In the evening the thirteen girls go out, have dinner and sleep with the Lombard families and on Sunday morning they find themselves in front of Carugate who will compete in the Lombardy women’s under 13 Gold. The match is balanced, uncertain and in the end the Ligurians manage to win 47-43.
