Six women, aged between 22 and 44, ended up in handcuffs and were arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of having participated in a violent attack against a 34-year-old man. The beating, which occurred for reasons related to sentimental issues, saw the victim hit repeatedly with baseball bats, while a 30-year-old accomplice fired a gunshot, wounding him in the leg.

According to the investigations, the attack was orchestrated as a real “punitive expedition”. The victim, ex-husband of the thirty-year-old’s current partner, was joined in the street by seven attackers: six women used baseball bats to hit the man, while the gunman fired several shots at the 34-year-old’s lower limb .
The six women were arrested on the orders of the investigating judge of the court of Naples North and are liable for aggravated injuries in association. Five of them were placed under house arrest, while a woman was arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of 100 grams of cocaine during the notification of the precautionary measure. Currently, she is detained in the prison of Secondigliano. The testimonies of witnesses present at the time of the attack are decisive.
