Since last Thursday the Bella Vista club has a new president for a two-year period. This is Gustavo Vázquez, who replaced Javier Bueno in office.
“A year ago we communicated to Javier (Bueno) our intentions to get involved with the club and as we had acceptance, given that the two-year period stipulated by law had already expired, the pertinent assembly was held to be able to start the 2025 with a new leadership,” said Gustavo Vázquez.

“We were always close to the leaders who passed through Bella Vista. In 2014 we created the ‘Ernesto Ancán’ group and I have worked under the mandates of Roberto Achares and Gustavo Lari, among others. We were born and raised in Villa Miramar, our group is very faithful to the institution and we are going to give ourselves completely to achieve the objectives we set for ourselves,” Vázquez highlighted.
The new president went to El Diario Deportivo, a program that is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. on La Nueva Play, and left his feelings.
“Like every club there are good things and bad things. The best thing they have left us is the sporting project and the achievements obtained in all categories. In the last two years the club’s Primera won titles in the Southern League with players from the seedbed, which is no small thing. Then there is the infrastructure part and many structures to improve. We will have to emphasize some issues that are very necessary, especially in the soccer stadium,” he said.
“We will also put initiatives into the Fortaleza Protectora and Avenida Prongles property, since we want to highlight it and thus continue adding kids. Today there are about 700 players of different categories attending, but we can increase that number taking into account that our neighborhood is very large and We have a privileged location,” he noted.
Vázquez also referred to the situation of Daniel Correa, who intervened in the club with a document letter, and the possibility, in the not too distant future, of moving the main court to the minor complex, as was set out in a project several years ago. .
