What makes the difference, as often happens in sport, are the episodes. Those in favor of the guests, good at punishing every mistake made by their opponents, and those who cost the hosts dearly, too imprecise in attack and distracted in defence.
Even the excellent performances of Timothy Biallo, Alessandro Bottaro (nominated MVP) and Edoardo Prian were not enough for Bogliasco to stop the Turin team’s run. And not even an excellent partial third, in which the match seemed to be able to reopen with the Bogliaschini back to within two after having been chasing for the entire match. The Ligurian coach’s comment at the end of the match was very harsh Gimmi Guidaldiimpatient with refereeing which he said was excessively protagonist: “Apart from the fact that Torino deserved to win, tonight’s show was an unseemly spectacle for me. I can’t think of anything different when faced with a match in which all the benches, coaches and assistant coaches of both teams go out, and there are 35 expelled players in the pool. I got a yellow because the referee ordered me to close a door to the pool. I’m a coach, not a lifeguard. My job is different. There are too many things wrong with this sport. For the umpteenth time we are playing without the presence of a delegate and therefore the referees will be able to say and write on the scoresheet whatever they want. Having said that, we lost the game. And now all we have to do is roll up our sleeves and get back up as soon as possible, possibly already on Saturday in Camogli”.
