The chicks, juniors and juniors of Judo Bassin Aveyron mobilized en masse to participate in the first interclub meeting of the year, in Villefranche-de-Rouergue. A good day of preparation before the first departmental animation for chicks and youngsters and the departmental mini competition which will take place on December 14, in Rodez.
In the morning, the juniors raised the temperature in the gymnasium with shouts of encouragement from parents, who came in large numbers for the occasion. The women, diligent and efficient, ranked well in their age category. Gold for Mila Rivière, Jayson Delagnes and Kiéra Feraud Skrzypczuk; money for Enzo Cassagnes, Jade Chastel and Clara Rotillon. And bronze for Arthur Cauchy and Léa Fougassie.
Mid-morning, the JBA coach was able to evaluate the youngest players, most of them first-year judokas, to gauge their strengths and areas for improvement. Ozanne Feraud Skrzypczuk and Mélia Thorel reached the 3rd step of the podium. Maëll Boscardin De Sousa, Nathan Canet, Riane Orcier, Valentin Real and Maxence Reboulleau ranked fifth.

In the afternoon, most of the chicks performed remarkably well, to the delight of the parents who saw the progress made. Gold for Soan Laden Lagarde, Imad Benabed, Titouan Billy, Arya Bos and Naïm Kharbouch. Money for Hélèna Markovic and Garance Cantournet. Bronze around the necks of Maëlle Chastel, Aydan Szekely and Guilia Aue. The club engaged more than 15 Penchotins at the Villefranche-de-Rouergue training course during the 2 days of school holidays with distinguished guests Alpha Oumar Djalo, Olympic team champion in Paris, and Margaux Pinot, reigning world champion. It was two days full of emotion for the young people, delighted to meet their idols.
