The Petrochemical Club was crowned in the Patagonian Archery League that took place last weekend in the province of Río Negro.
The competition brought together archers from 14 Patagonian towns, including Caleta Olivia, Comodoro Rivadavia, Trelew, Puerto Madryn, Trevelin, Esquel, Dina Huapi, General Roca, General Conesa, Las Grutas, Río Colorado and Luro.
Petrochemical was not only crowned champion, but also celebrated an important milestone in its history: its centenary. For 100 years, the club has been a benchmark in sport and the community.
Among the notable champions are Gabriel Rivas, who took first place in the traditional senior category; Ariel Rivas, who returned to the competition in the low category after his time in the Olympic arch; Juan Carlos Rodríguez, who won the bronze medal in the tournament and was crowned annual champion; Victor Rodríguez, who achieved second place in the annual tournament in the level archery category; Eugenio Vdovichenko, who took first place in the level archery category; and Miguel Soto, who was crowned champion in the compound hunter category.

In addition, Petrochemical won the prestigious “Copa Pez”, a trophy that is disputed annually between clubs. This cup is a symbol of excellence and dedication in archery.
The Petrochemical team demonstrated its skill and skill in archery, beating its rivals and taking the title. The 2024 Patagonian League was a resounding success, with great participation and a high level of competition.
