Sixty-five archers, representing twelve clubs from across the region, including​ the Gard, vaucluse, adn Bouches-du-Rhône departments,⁢ gathered to test thier skills and‌ vie for a coveted spot in the national⁤ championships.

The ⁤competition, held ⁢at a distance‍ of 18 meters, saw⁢ archers grouped in‌ sets of twelve. Each archer meticulously‌ released ‌three volleys of twenty arrows, carefully retrieving them after⁤ each volley to meticulously calculate their scores. This‍ format, common in competitive archery, emphasizes both accuracy⁤ and consistency.

Standout performances illuminated the day. In the classic bow category, Aurore​ Schmitt from Pont-saint-Esprit impressed in the U15 division, achieving an ⁢remarkable 566 points. Anne Sandri, also from pont-Saint-Esprit,‍ dominated‌ the senior 2 category with a score of⁢ 550 points. The compound bow division saw Yan​ Pazzi⁢ from Laudun-l’Ardoise ⁣secure the top spot in⁤ the U18-U21 category ‍with‌ 555 points, while angel Martin from​ Alès claimed victory in the senior‌ 2 category with ​a score of 560‌ points.
