PORTO SANT’ELPIDIO A sudden illness gave Patrizio Farina no escape, the brother of the Sports councilor Enzo died on Thursday evening. He was 63 years old. The news of the tragedy left everyone dismayed. Farina was well known and loved in the city, as evidenced by the numerous messages of condolence to his family.

He was always ready to collaborate with many associations from sport to volunteering: we will miss him. A hug to his father Gino, his brother Enzo, his sister Maria and all his loved ones.” Patrizio Farina was very close to the world of sport and associations. Porto Sant’Elpidio Basket expressed its deep condolences and «joins in the pain that has struck our sports councilor and leading fan, for the passing of his beloved brother Patrizio, historic collaborator and great supporter of the blue and white colours». Atletico Calcio also «shares in the pain that has affected the Sports councilor and our main supporter for the loss of our dear brother Patrizio. There are no words to describe such a huge void. Deepest condolences to my friend Enzo and his family.” «There are no words to describe certain events – we read in a note from Pinturetta Falcor -, but the whole team wanted to be close to the councilor and his entire family». Words of sympathy were also expressed by the San Crispino Eventi association: «In this moment of profound pain for the loss of your dear brother Patrizio – they write addressing the councilor – we offer you our deepest condolences, joining in your pain with affection and respect. May Patrizio’s memory be a comfort to you and your family.” The management and the community of the Corva neighborhood are united by the councilor’s pain, as Deputy Mayor Andrea Balestrieri said: «In this moment of great pain I offer you my deepest condolences for the loss of your dear brother. A good person, a friend, left us.” The funeral will be celebrated this morning at 10 in the central church, parish of the Santissima Annunziata.
