Denver Broncos win wild game against Cleveland Browns

Broncos stay on course for playoffs in NFL with win against Browns

The Denver Broncos won an entertaining NFL game and increased their chances of making the playoffs. The Broncos won 41:32 against the Cleveland Browns and recorded their eighth win of the season. The hosts’ defense played a large part in the success: the Broncos intercepted three passes from Browns quarterback Jameis Winston, and twice this immediately resulted in their own touchdown.

“It was a difficult football game, they have a strong defense. But we forced three turnovers and that kept us in the game. That’s what it’s all about on Monday night: who wins,” said Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.

Winston, on the other hand, had a strong performance with four touchdown passes and gained 497 yards, but in the end he was forced to risk too much. Pass receiver Jerry Jeudy’s performance against his former team was also worthless; he gained 235 yards and a touchdown. According to ESPN, no player has ever been better against his former team.

Schröder loses with Nets – Lakers receive NBA slap

National basketball player Dennis Schröder lost again with the Brooklyn Nets. In the end, the team from New York clearly lost to the Chicago Bulls 102:128 and suffered their third defeat in a row. The Nets slipped out of the play-off ranks in the Eastern Conference. Schröder recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, but missed all six shots from long range and couldn’t prevent the Bulls from steadily increasing their lead in the second half. Both teams now have 9 wins from 22 games.

World champion colleague Daniel Theis also suffered a defeat with his team – for the New Orleans Pelicans, the 112:123 defeat against the Atlanta Hawks was the ninth defeat in a row. In the NBA, only the Washington Wizards are worse this season. Theis played 13 minutes and recorded three points and four rebounds during this time.

The Los Angeles Lakers around superstar LeBron James suffered the clearest defeat of the day. The guests conceded 80:109 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Neither James nor Anthony Davis showed a convincing performance. James only scored ten points, Davis scored 12. James missed all four three-point attempts and has now been waiting for a basket from behind the three-point line for 19 attempts. The team of new coach JJ Reddick is in eighth place in the Western Conference after their ninth defeat in the 21st game of the season.

NHL: Reichelt’s goal is not enough to win

National ice hockey player Lukas Reichel suffered his third defeat in a row with the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL despite his third goal of the season. The team with the lowest points in the league lost 4-1 to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night, with Reichel scoring the next goal to make it 1-2.

In the third period, the Nuremberg native’s goal gave the Blackhawks hope again – for exactly 21 seconds, then Fraser Minten immediately countered with the Maple Leafs making it 3-1. Chicago has only won eight of its 25 games this season.
