Maharajganj Times Bureau :- District Magistrate Anunay Jha inspected the renovation of the multipurpose hall, jogging track, volleyball, basketball court and tennis court of the District Sports Stadium which is being constructed at a cost of Rs 4.99 crore. During the inspection, got information about the quality of construction material and saw it for myself. He was angry at the tiles of the multipurpose hall being scratched. He said that this would reflect light on the eyes of the players, which would distract them. Improve it, and inform by making alternative arrangements. Multipurpose hall should be built to suit the players. Instructed to submit certificate after carrying out structural stability analysis to check strength. After this the District Magistrate saw the construction of the jogging track. He also got the width of the track measured in front of him. Directed to send a proposal to the headquarters for using CC in place of asphalt in the construction of jogging track without increasing the cost. Said that the width of the track is 400 meters. Keep minimum 03 meters after. Mentioned the work of basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and said that they should be surrounded with nets. Ensure construction work at all points as per DPR. All work should be completed on time and there should be no compromise on quality.
