It may not be easy for stars like Arthur Fils and Alex Michelsen to address pop culture trivia from the year they were born, but when the question turns to tennis, they are a walking encyclopedia.

The eight tennis players competing in the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF, born between 2004 and 2006, were questioned about cinema, music and football in our latest report ‘The year I was born’. Luca Van Assche laughed and started dancing when he remembered the most popular song of 2004, although the Frenchman said he didn’t know who sang it.

Watch the full video above to see how Fils also had a hilarious moment remembering the chart-topping song. It wasn’t Fils’ only laugh. The 20-year-old had to resolve the difference between Shrek actor Mike Myers and Halloween character Michael Myers.

Michelsen struggled to name the winner of Euro 2004, cheekily pointing out: “I’m an American!” But the No. 41 in the PIF ATP Rankings had no problem listing the Grand Slams that Roger Federer won that season, a question that several players nailed.
