THE CAREER
After finishing his basketball education at the prestigious Iowa State college, he flew to Greece to sign his first professional contract with Neas Kifisias. In the season played in the top Greek league, Hogue immediately demonstrated an excellent adaptation to European basketball, becoming the best rebounder in the league and signing eleven double-doubles. He was thus signed by Trento, where he continued to impress and established himself as one of the best big men in the championship. With an average in the playoffs of 13.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, he dragged Trento to the championship final. He remained in Trentino also in the following two seasons, confirming himself at excellent levels both in Serie A and in the EuroCup. Yet another excellent year earned him a contract with the Russians Enisey Krasnoyarsk, where he remained for two years. In the 2020-21 season he moved to Romania to Cluj-Napoca, with whom he also played in the Basketball Champions League. The following year he split his time between the Ukrainians of Prometey and the Greeks of Promitheas Patras, both also involved in the Eurocup. In his last season he made his debut in Serie A2 with Rieti, establishing himself as one of the most dominant centers in a closed championship with an average of 12.5 points and 8.9 rebounds. He was also a protagonist in the playoffs, in which he played three games with 10 points and 10 rebounds per game, before ending the season prematurely due to a triceps injury.
