Farewell to sports director Sandro Crovetti, condolences from Pallacanestro Reggiana


Pallacanestro Reggiana is saddened by the Crovetti family for the passing of Alessandro, known to all as Sandro, historic manager of the red and whites and of the entire Italian basketball movement.

Born in Reggio Emilia on 25 December 1958, after becoming a freelance journalist in 1981, Crovetti worked for Pallacanestro Reggiana from 1984 to 1987, as press office and marketing manager.

Subsequently, his career continued in Legabasket, where he remained for 12 years until 1999, and then held the role of manager in various Serie A and A2 clubs such as Napoli, Ferrara, San Severo, Montegranaro and Virtus Bologna. In In 2009 he was awarded the Reverberi Prize for his contribution to Italian basketball.

Pallacanestro Reggiana expresses its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones.
