The exams reserved for candidates for VI Dan Judo of the FiJLKAM (Italian Federation of Judo Karate Martial Arts Wrestling) took place yesterday (15.12) at the PalaPellicone, in Ostia Lido (RM); Farina Domenico, already in possession of the qualification of Master of the discipline, succeeded in his intended aim and was promoted to the coveted federal rank, accompanied by Giovanni Florio and Gerardo De Sio who also acted as ukè (the one who receives the technique).
Domenico, among other things, a member of the Federal MGA (Global Self-Defense Method) Campania section, today recognized among the disciplines in the CONI list, was among the technicians of the APD Bu Sen Salerno who, of Martial Arts, for almost 50 years , nor does it know reason, way, life, essence, “Way”.
Today, he confirms his presence, with renewed vigor, among the technicians who have made Campania great in Judo, with the President, Bruno D’Isanto and with the Regional Committee, chaired by Antonio Bracciante.
He was the last pawn, for the moment, to reach, in his maturation and research, in the discipline of “compliance”. Ju Do is an Olympic discipline (Tokyo 1964) and many, the Olympic, World and European medals, have dotted its path and recognized the philosophical and sporting suffrage of the discipline.
He took his first steps under the guidance of Ernesto and Raffaele Pintore, in his Salerno company, with time and a thirst for knowledge, he boasted the contribution of Vito Rizzo, Mafalda Chiaro, Fulvio Aragozzini, Cesare Barioli, Alessio Oltremari and many others, to whom he looked, crossing them in his training path. A competitor first in combat, he closed his competitive career as an Italian in kata (forms), representing Italy in international competitions. Always supported by those who believed in him and his abilities, even as a technical teacher, one among all, his association President, Luigi Di Maio (today, among other things, Regional Trustee for the MGA Campania and responsible for Region, for the Masters, in Karate, Kumitè and Katà), as among his traveling companions, Francesco Gatto.
Farina, a school teacher, as a graduate in Physical Education, among his latest “efforts”, has also implemented the Federal project with Sport and Health, “Tutti Down to Earth”, with colleagues: Di Maio, Lionti, Negri, at ICS Torquato Tasso/Rodari of Salerno.
Now, we look ahead and to the next step. Updating, training, knowledge and the will to continue further are never tamed and the maturation of one’s “I”, through the “Way”, is the school and essence of life (LdM).
