Roberto Íñiguez: Returning to girona was coming home.I know this club, I know the city, and I knew the potential was there. There were definitely challenges. Morale was low,and we needed to rediscover that winning mentality. But right from the start, the players embraced my vision, and that was key.
The initial skepticism surrounding your return, stemming from past controversies, was understandable. How did you address that both publicly and within the locker room?
Roberto Íñiguez: Look, I understand there were past concerns.But my focus has always been on the game, on my players. I’m a straight shooter, I demand excellence, and I’m 100% committed. That’s what I conveyed to the team and to the fans. Actions speak louder than words, and I believe our results have done the talking.
