This Sunday an auction of several collectibles that belonged to legends of various sports will take place in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Unsurprisingly, in the realm of tennis, it is primarily the rackets that will be in play.
The Aguttes house, responsible for this event, will put on sale several rackets that belonged to some legends of this sport.
For example, you can find the racket with which Roger Federer won Wimbledon in 2005, which is estimated between 10,000 and 15,000 euros.
Also for sale will be two racquets used and signed by Jimmy Connors during his incredible run at the 1991 US Open and in his final career match at the 1992 US Open.
They could be sold on Sunday for between 10,000 and 20,000 euros.
Finally, among other pieces offered for sale, you can find Gustavo Kuerten’s racket during his victory at Roland-Garros in 2001 or a set (t-shirt and shorts) worn by Monica Seles.
If you want to take a look at these collector’s pieces, the Aguttes house (located in Neuilly-sur-Seine) will open its doors starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 12, and until Saturday for a temporary exhibition.
