Fisheries ⁤Science College Gumla Hosts Thrilling Annual Sports Competition

The Fisheries Science ​College gumla‍ recently concluded its highly anticipated four-day annual sports⁣ competition,⁣ showcasing the athletic prowess and competitive spirit ⁢of its students.

Students were divided into ⁤three dynamic teams – Killer Whale, White Shark, and Gangetic Dolphin – ⁣and engaged in ⁤a variety of indoor and outdoor sporting events. The athletics competitions featured intense races, including the 100-meter and 300-meter sprints, as well as tests of⁤ strength and precision in ‍shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw.

Indoor competitions saw fierce battles unfold in‌ chess, badminton, and table tennis, while outdoor events like volleyball, cricket, and kabaddi brought out the team spirit and strategic thinking of the participants.

The competition witnessed remarkable performances from both male and female athletes. In ‌the 100-meter race,‍ Sonu Kumar secured the‌ top spot in ⁤the boys’ category, followed ⁤by shubham Ekka and Anmol.⁣ Nikki Kerketta emerged victorious in the girls’ category, with santoshi Kumari and Namrata Bakhala claiming the‍ second and third positions respectively.

The 300-meter race saw Amlesh Kumar take the lead in the ⁣boys’ category, with Sonu⁤ Kumar and ⁤Shubham Ekka securing the‍ second and third positions.In the girls’ category, sipu, Nikki Kerketta, and swati Hema Khalkho dominated the⁢ podium.

The field events also saw extraordinary displays of strength and skill. Lucky Soni, Abhishek Toppo, and Abhishek Dungdung excelled in shot put for the boys, while Swati Hema Khalkho, Aastha Sinha, and nikki Kerketta claimed the top three spots in the girls’ category.

In javelin ⁢throw, manjeet Kumar, Lucky ‌Soni, and Shubham Ekka secured the top three ⁤positions for the boys, while Swati Hema Khalkho, Nikita‌ Kumari,⁣ and ‌Aastha Sinha dominated the girls’ category.

The indoor competitions saw Harsh Tiwari emerge victorious ⁣in boys’​ table tennis,while Prince Kachhap reigned supreme in chess. ananya showcased her talent by winning in ‌both girls’ table tennis ⁢and badminton, and also secured the top spot in chess. Saket‌ and prasanna Pandey triumphed in⁤ boys’ doubles ⁣table tennis, while Swati Hema Khalkho ‍and Monica Dungdung emerged⁢ as the winning duo ​in‍ the girls’ category.

Ultimately, the Gangetic Dolphin team emerged as the overall ‍champions, demonstrating their collective strength and teamwork.

Dr. A.K. Singh, Co-Dean of the college, congratulated the ‌winners and⁤ emphasized ​the college’s commitment to the holistic development of its students. He highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities alongside academic ⁢pursuits.

Gumla District​ Administration Emphasizes Good Governance During Review Meeting

The Gumla District Administration,‌ as part of the ongoing Good Governance Week, organized a crucial⁤ workshop on monday.Deputy Commissioner Karna‌ Satyarthi presided ​over the meeting, which ⁢focused on⁢ reviewing the progress of various development initiatives and addressing pending tasks.

During the review, the Deputy Commissioner meticulously examined updated reports from the Village Property Portal,⁤ Niti Aayog, SCA, and CSR ‍projects. ⁢He⁤ expressed his dissatisfaction⁣ with the slow pace of progress in ‍certain‌ areas and⁤ directed officials to expedite the completion of all pending works ‍without delay.

The Deputy Commissioner⁣ specifically reprimanded the engineering⁣ department for ‌commencing road construction ⁤on the Sisai-Basia road without relocating‍ utility poles, highlighting the ‍importance of meticulous planning and coordination. ​He also emphasized the need for‍ timely completion of projects, urging officials to ‍adhere to stipulated deadlines.

Recognizing the importance of land-related matters, the ⁣deputy Commissioner ⁢engaged in detailed discussions with all ⁢engineering ‍departments regarding First Land, in the presence⁢ of the District ⁤Forest Officer. He provided necesary instructions to⁢ ensure smooth and transparent land acquisition processes.

Furthermore, the ⁢Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance⁤ of updating ongoing schemes on the Gram Sampatti Portal and maintaining high-quality standards in construction ⁤and repair works. He emphasized that the ​objective of Good Governance Week is to deliver tangible benefits to citizens at the grassroots ‌level.He ​urged officials‍ to move beyond mere checklist exercises and strive⁣ for impactful outcomes that truly improve the lives of the people. He stressed the need⁣ to ensure⁣ that the benefits ⁤of government schemes reach all intended beneficiaries.The Deputy Commissioner also directed officials‍ to update the ⁣schemes of the 15th Finance‍ Commission on the Gram Sampatti‌ Portal. He ⁢made it clear that any negligence or irregularities in⁣ project ⁤implementation would not be tolerated.

minor Girl from Gumla Sold with Fake Aadhaar Card in Noida

A distressing case has come to light involving⁣ a minor girl from ​Gumla who ⁣was allegedly sold in Noida after being provided with a fake Aadhaar card. The age of⁤ the minor‍ girl was falsely inflated on the‌ forged document.

The family of the girl has reported the​ matter to the gumla Deputy Commissioner,who has ⁤taken cognizance of the situation. The girl has as been recovered and placed in an orphanage‍ in Delhi.

However, the family,⁤ facing ​financial ​constraints, is unable to⁢ travel to Delhi to bring their daughter back home. They have appealed to the administration for assistance in reuniting them with their child.

Unluckily, despite the ‌family’s plea, no concrete action has been taken by the Gumla ‌administration or police to​ facilitate the girl’s return.

Jyoti Verma and ⁢Jyoti Gloria Kujur of Mission Parivartan Gumla have highlighted the family’s plight, stating that they are anxiously awaiting their daughter’s return. Though, ‍the lack of support from the authorities has hindered⁢ their efforts.

Following ‍facts about the girl’s sale,the⁢ Delhi police intervened and rescued her from​ Noida Purvanchal Royal Park Sector 137,Tower 2,Flat no. 11. ‌She is currently under the care of an orphanage in Delhi.
