Francisco Laporta becomes the Autonomous Center for Technique in judo

The president of the Valencian Judo Federation was present at the signing of the agreement.

The Francisco Laporta sports center becomes an Autonomous Technology Center (CTD) after the collaboration agreement signed by the City Council and the Valencian Judo Federation.

The signing ceremony was attended by the president of the Valencian Judo Club, Salvador Gómez, as well as his secretary, Jesús Alcíbar, while the councilor for sports, Alberto Belda, was representing the City Council, and members of the Judo Club were also present. Alcoi, specifically, was its president, Roberto Botella, and the technical director, Pau Botella.

The objective of this agreement is to continue promoting the practice of judo in our city through technical training sessions coordinated by technicians from the Valencian Federation through the call of high-level judokas from different parts of the province.

These sessions will take place in the Francisco Laporta martial arts room over the next year. This agreement comes a few dates before the start of a year that will be very special for Judo Club Alcoi. This veteran local entity will celebrate 60 years of life in 2025.
