This new addition is called Franck Laurent, who becomes the eighth president in the history of the FFBaD. The participation rate for this federal election is 46.22%, representing 60.15% of the votes.

The new president of the FFBaD is also very clear: « our priority will be to bring the territories together and ease the tensions that have marked recent years. » For the discipline, it is above all about riding the momentum born from the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The French Badminton Federation has 225,857 members as of December 13, 2024, including 35% women and 65% men. , for a total of 2,000 clubs throughout the country.
