Fritz at the Chargers NFL game
Taylor Fritz was a special guest during the Los Angeles Chargers NFL game yesterday in California. The world no.4 is passionate about American football and when he is in LA he often attends the home team’s matches. During yesterday’s match Fritz came down to the sidelines of the SoFi Stadium, wearing a personalized team t-shirt and was greeted by an ovation from the crowd. Then he performed the classic show of the local team, i.e. he activated the team’s symbol turbine at full speed, with the battle cry “Bolt up!”, as we show in the clip below posted on X by the Californian franchise.

Unfortunately for local fans, the Chargers game didn’t go well. In fact, the Los Angeles team was soundly beaten by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 40-17, thanks to a sensational comeback in the second half by the Florida team after the 17-13 lead for the home team in the first half.
Fritz is preparing 2025 in California focused on the Australian Open, so much so that he refused a large fee from the organizers of the two exhibitions played a few days ago in News York and Charlotte, where his two compatriots Shelton and Tiafoe were instead present.
