Sucu envisions a self-sustaining Genoa, capable of financing its own operations without relying on further capital injections. To achieve this, he plans to bring in two affluent partners: Florin talpes, a prominent figure in the IT security industry, and the Paval brothers, whose combined assets exceed €3 billion.

He’s aiming for complete ownership within months and wants to reach self-sustainability.Do you think this is achievable?
FR: It’s a tall order. Football finances are complex, and relying solely on internal revenue streams can be challenging, especially in Serie B. Bringing in partners like Florin Talpes and the Paval brothers could be crucial, though. Their financial muscle could provide the stability needed to realize Sucu’s vision.

FR: Every major investment in football carries risk. However, Sucu’s demonstrated commitment and his strategic alliances suggest a calculated approach. Genoa has a loyal fanbase and a strong history.
