Gilberto García has been unanimously re-elected as president‍ of ⁤the Dominican Judo Federation⁣ (Fedojudo) for the 2024-2028 term. The​ decision was made ‌during the federation’s electoral assembly held on Thursday at the ‌National house of Judo within the​ Olympic Centre.

All 15 judo associations‍ eligible to vote cast their ballots in favor⁤ of García, demonstrating a strong show of support for ⁣his leadership.

Joining García on the new executive ‌committee‌ is a team of experienced judo professionals. Edi García will serve as first vice ⁤president, while Ruddy ⁤Contreras takes‍ on the role of second ⁣vice president.
