Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The Malecón of Mazatlán vibrated with energy, joy and passion this weekend, as it witnessed the Great Chevron Marathon and Triathlon Mazatlán 2024, presented by Skechers, an event that brought together thousands of runners from all over the country and the world in a spectacle unforgettable sports car.
From the early hours of the day, the sunrise over the Pacific was the backdrop for the runners who challenged their limits in the different categories, from 5K to the impressive 42 kilometers.
Each stride was a display of effort, discipline and commitment, as the participants toured one of the most emblematic settings in Mexico: the majestic Malecón, adorned by the enthusiasm of a crowd that never stopped cheering.
The goal was a mosaic of emotions. Tears of happiness, hugs from friends and families, and the satisfaction of having conquered a personal challenge marked the end of the journey for hundreds of participants to the sound of the band.
The festive atmosphere continued with live music, hydration zones and activations organized by sponsors, turning the marathon into a true community celebration.

This year’s edition not only broke participation records, but also reaffirmed Mazatlán as a world-class sports destination. The organizers highlighted the importance of the event as a driver of tourism and coexistence, as well as a meeting point for athletes and families who found a unique experience in the port.
