After singing the National Anthem and the Hall of Fame Anthem, Deacon Elías Camino offered an invocation that inspired reflection. Afterwards, the Standing Committee of the Hall took its place on the main podium, marking the formal start of the ceremony.
Heidi Despradel, member of the committee, paid tribute to the Paralympic athletes who participated in the Olympic Games in Paris, France, highlighting their example of improvement. Dr. Norberto Puello, president of the Hall of Fame, welcomed those present and reaffirmed that the inductions were carried out with transparency, recognizing the merits of those honored.
Among the distinguished guests were sports immortals, businessmen and leaders, while the honorary president, Carlino González, and the immortal Julio Mon Nadal, to whom this ceremony was dedicated, received special mentions.
The event had the support of Distribuidora Corripio, the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, and Obinsa. Within the framework of the event, recognitions were given to prominent athletes and entities: Dr. Emilio Antonio Jiménez Laucet, Leo Alejandro Marion-Landais Ciriaco, Rhino Richiez and the Little Titans Taekwondo Academy of Hato Mayor, for their contribution to martial arts.
