Hanssem disabled sports team draws attention to ‘sports ESG’

Hanssem’s disabled sports team is attracting attention for its excellent performance.

As part of sports ESG management, we provide support with the goal of revitalizing sports for the disabled and creating social value. In 2016, in cooperation with the Gyeonggi branch of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, a contract was signed with table tennis, tennis, and bowling amateur players from the Gyeonggi Province Sports Association for the Disabled, and currently supporting about 30 players.

Recently, at the 44th National Sports Festival for the Disabled held in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, he participated in table tennis, tennis, and bowling and won a total of 8 medals, including 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals.

The company said, “We are proud that the players’ efforts and passion led to valuable results, and we delivered a small reward,” and added, “We will continue to provide support to revitalize sports for the disabled in the future.”

Meanwhile, the company earned the highest grade of AA for four consecutive years in the Sustain Best ESG evaluation in the second half of 2024 and was selected as the ‘Best ESG Company’. The practice of ESG management, including efforts to reduce greenhouse gases and conduct human rights impact assessments, received high praise.
