Cividale loses the second match in a row, this time in Nardò against a team that gave its best in the second half of the match.
A balanced first quarter was followed by the Ducali’s best moment, led by Marks and Rota, reaching +12.
But towards the end of the half the Apulians raised the level of their defensive play, and Pillastrini’s team found great difficulties in the scoring phase.
The inertia of the match changed and Nardò recovered inexorably until overtaking at the end of the third quarter.
A blaze from the Friulians at the start of the last stage quickly ran out. The Apulians hit three-pointers in an inexorable way while the second in the class lost in precision and defensive effectiveness.
The absence of Mastellari and a Redivo still to recover after the national break are not enough to justify the defeat.
FINAL RESULT: Nardò 84 – Cividale 77.
