Igor: That’s a tough one. Every victory,every match played for Slovakia,every moment alongside my teammates resonates deeply. But I’d have to say that final win in St.Petersburg was truly special.
Winning at that level, knowing it was a farewell performance with Divij, it was a perfect culmination of everything I’d worked towards.
Moderator: It’s clear you’re a dedicated team player. Your Davis Cup record, especially your undefeated streak with Filip Polášek, is a testament to that.
Igor: Absolutely. Representing Slovakia in the Davis Cup was an honor unlike any other. The camaraderie, the pressure, the shared dream with my partner, Filip, those are moments etched permanently in my memory.

Igor: It’s all about communication, trust, and understanding each other’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s like a well-choreographed dance – you need to anticipate your partner’s moves, cover each other’s weaknesses, and celebrate each other’s successes.
