Players took oath on sportsmanship
A total of five teams are participating in the tournament – A Crew, B Crew, C Crew, D Crew and General Innings Operations. In the inaugural programme, the students of the school presented an attractive group dance, which was appreciated by the audience. Also, Operations Superintendent Anil Kumar Aggarwal administered the oath of sportsmanship to all the players, so that fairness and respectable competition of the game can be promoted.
General Operations team won the inaugural match
The inaugural match was played on Sunday between A Crew and normal innings operations. Captain of General Operations Pawan Gupta won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 156 runs in the stipulated 15 overs. In reply, A Crew’s team could score only 106 runs. Sudhir Mishra was declared man of the match for his excellent batting, who scored 36 runs.
On this occasion, Chief Superintendent Sanjay Kavre, Superintendent HS Singh, Principal AECS MK Meena, Convener SK Pramanik, and LK Gupta and other senior officers were also present. The program was conducted by Rizwan Ansari.
