Bhilai. “Inter-Departmental Tennis Competition (Men)-2024” will be organized by the Sports, Cultural and Civic Facilities Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant from 19 to 21 December 2024 at the Tennis Complex, Civic Centre.
All regular employees of Bhilai Steel Plant can participate in this competition. National seeded players who have represented Bhilai Steel Plant in the Senior National Tennis Competition in the last three years will not be eligible to participate in this competition.
The last date for submission of entries to participate in the competition has been fixed as 17 December 2024. Therefore, employees willing to participate in the competition can send their entries through their department head to the office of Sports, Cultural and Civic Facilities Department, Bokaro Hostel, Sector-4 during office hours before the last date. Only singles and doubles matches will be played in the tennis competition. Each match will be played best of 13 games. The competition will be played on “knock out method”. Matches will be played daily from 6:00 pm. Competing players are required to be in proper kit (racquet, half pant/lower, T-shirt). In case of any dispute, the organizing committee (sports, cultural and civic facilities) will have full authority to decide. Presence of all participants is necessary at Tennis Complex, Civic Center on 19th December at 6:00 pm, draw will be conducted in the presence of all.
