It’s nice to see schools like the Liceo Scientifico Epifanio Ferdinando participate in World Disability Day. These celebrations are fundamental to raise public awareness of the importance of inclusion and respect for the rights of people with disabilities.
How wonderful! The badminton and wheelchair basketball performances are a fantastic display of inclusiveness and sportsmanship. It’s really inspiring to see how students can actively participate and support each other, regardless of their abilities.
These activities not only promote inclusion, but also provide an opportunity for everyone to better understand the challenges and abilities of people with disabilities. Special thanks certainly go to Vito Briamonte, the soul of this day of inclusiveness, to the Headmaster, Mario Palmisano, and to the teachers Maria Quaranta and Alessandro Molfetta, the Councilor for Social Policies, Roberta Tollis, present for the Municipality, and to the Lions Club of Mesagne, in the figure of the President Vito Lenoci and the 2nd Vice Governor Giuseppe Daprile for having made this splendid day possible. Without their support and commitment, these inclusive activities would not have been possible. It is important to recognize and appreciate the contribution of all people and organizations working to promote inclusion and respect for all.
