Good evening and welcome to the Football Italia LIVEBLOG for coverage of Wednesday evening’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 clash between Roma and Sampdoria.
Kick-off is due at 20.00 GMT.
This is Roma’s first match in the Coppa Italia in 2024-25.
Sampdoria, meanwhile, have already progressed past Serie A competition in rivals Genoa to get to the round of 16. The Blucerchiati also triumped over Como in the first round. Both games ended in 1-1 draws after 90 minutes.
If Sampdoria manage to hold Roma to a draw, the game will head straight to penalties after 90 minutes. There will be no extra time.
