On September 7th,the archers du Val d’Albret club hosted an open house event,inviting the community to experience the captivating world of archery. The goal was simple: to ignite a passion for this sport in people of all ages.
Under the guidance of dedicated volunteer instructors, participants learned the fundamentals of archery safety and received hands-on training in proper bow handling and accurate shooting techniques. This immersive experience provided a comprehensive introduction to the sport.
Club president Laurent Varin expressed his delight at the notable turnout for the event. The club’s training sessions take place at the Vianne sports complex, wich boasts both indoor and outdoor facilities.
Training Schedule for All Levels
The Archers du Val d’Albret offers a variety of training options to suit different schedules and skill levels:
Children’s Classes: Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Adult Classes: Tuesdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Fridays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (leisure), and 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM (competition).
* Open Practice: Wednesdays from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
