Judo, for Cervelli and Paperini from Terni, passing the belt: the culmination of a lifetime’s efforts

A great satisfaction for two judokas from Terni. Alessandro Cervelli of Polisportiva Ternana and Riccardo Paperini of eaTech Judo Terni, technical teachers, took part in the grade level exams held on Saturday 14 December at the Fijlkam federal Olympic center in Ostia

Test passed for both of them who have been preparing for the double exam for months with commitment even though Judo is not their main activity but an infinite passion. Both have achieved 4.Dan black belt, the culmination of a lifetime’s effort. The love for Judo of Alessandro and Riccardo, both from via Rossini, was born in the 80s when as children they took their first steps almost together on the Tatami, the same Tatami near their home. The paths then divided judo for over 35 years but both grew up in judo, in different Tatami.

In 2023 the same paths or as the Japanese Masters say, the Paths are reunited in the study of Kata. Now Alessandro and Riccardo have the task of moving forward more determinedly in their respective clubs for the dissemination and achievement of the maximum possible for their respective young Judokas. For Alessandro and Riccardo they have only been in business for 40 years but judo is and remains an infinite story.

And gThanks to the collaboration between clubs, all of Terni’s judo is growing in numbers, results, proposals and qualifications.
