Iwate University’s Faculty of Education is thrilled to announce the “1st Year ⁣Junior High School Basketball Tournament,” a unique⁤ opportunity for⁢ young athletes to​ refine their skills and experience competitive play.This exciting event, supported by the Sports Safety Association’s​ Sports ‌Activities Promotion ​Subsidy Project, will take ⁢place on February 9, 2025, at the Iwate ⁣University First Gymnasium.

Expert⁢ Guidance from a Renowned Coach

Led by former All Japan ‍Junior Head Coach Junichi Hoshizawa, participants will recieve top-notch technical guidance and engage in ‍thrilling⁢ games. Coach ‍Hoshizawa’s expertise will provide invaluable insights and help players develop their game‍ to the next level.

Who Should Attend?

This​ tournament is ‌primarily designed for first-year junior high school ⁤students who are eager to improve their basketball abilities. While upper elementary school students and second-year junior high school students are welcome to ‍participate, priority⁤ will ⁤be given⁤ to‍ first-year students.

Date and Time: February 9,‍ 2025 ⁢(Sunday), 9:20 AM – 3:30 PM. Participants can join or leave midway, just ⁢inform us ‌during⁢ registration.
Venue: iwate University First Gymnasium (3-18-33 Ueda,Morioka City)
Capacity: 30 participants (minimum 1). Even if you’re ⁣part of a team, please register individually.
Participation Fee: 500 yen
