The Ryukyu Golden Kings U15 team has once again proven their dominance on the court, clinching their second consecutive victory in the prestigious 2024 BJ Cup U14 Presented by comprehensive Education and Lifelong Learning Institution ECC. The tournament, held in Shizuoka Prefecture from December 26th to 28th, showcased the extraordinary talent and teamwork of these young athletes.
This year’s BJ Cup was a crucial stepping stone for the Kings U15, comprised primarily of first and second-year junior high school students. Daichi Kinjo and Eiji Oshiro, both second-year and first-year students respectively, secured spots in the top five players.Shota Minei, another second-year student, received the Outstanding Player Award. Adding to the team’s success, Head Coach Tomoya Suehiro was honored with the Coach of the Year award.
