SANTO DOMINGO. The La Romana Judo Association emerged victorious at the First Domingo Germán Alcalá Judo Cup,held at the Romanense Sports Complex. The team dominated the competition, securing a commanding lead with 873 points, fueled by an remarkable eight gold medals, seven silver, and three bronze.
The Villa Francisca judo club claimed third place with 410 points, mirroring the score of the Monte Plata team. Their success was driven by four gold medals and one silver.
The San Pedro de macorís delegation rounded out the top four, earning 112 points and four medals: one gold, one silver, and two bronze.honoring a Legacy
