After the defeat in Buffalo, the playoffs have become a long way off for the Super Bowl participants. In addition, the superstar is now out. Buffalo, however, had a historic evening.

Orchard Park – The San Francisco 49ers are increasingly experiencing a season to forget in the NFL. Last year’s finalist from California lost 10:35 to the Buffalo Bills in heavy snow and has little chance of taking part in the playoffs. To make matters worse, star player Christian McCaffrey was seriously injured. The in-form Bills, on the other hand, have secured their ticket to the knockout round early and are still one of the biggest title contenders after a historic performance from quarterback Josh Allen.

San Francisco reached the Super Bowl in February and only narrowly lost to the Kansas City Chiefs (22:25). In the current season, coach Kyle Shanahan’s team only has five wins in twelve games and is therefore last in the NFC West.

McCaffrey cruciate ligament injury

Star running back McCaffrey injured his ACL in the game in Buffalo, which was played in the middle of a violent storm on snow-covered ground, and is at risk of missing the rest of the season. “Normally we’re talking several weeks with this injury, but I’m not entirely sure,” Coach Shanahan said.

Quarterback Allen scores a historic touchdown triple

The Bills, on the other hand, are in a good mood and are looking forward to the playoffs. With ten wins and just two losses, Buffalo remains on the heels of the Chiefs (11-1) in the race for the top spot in the AFC.

Josh Allen made history by becoming the first quarterback to throw, run and catch at least one touchdown in the same game. After the game, he celebrated his triple and the Bills’ outstanding evening by lying on his back on the ground with coach Sean McDermott during an interview and making a snow angel. dpa
