Here we go again
Lille kicks off the second half.
Half-time, the MHSC has a sponsor
LOSC’s possession of the ball (66%) proved sterile for a long time, before a more lively end to the first period. With the experience of Khazri and the talent of Savanier, Montpellier finished better and was even able to respond immediately after opening the score. Everything remains to be done under the Mosson sun.

In an off-center position in the area, Bakker crosses a shot from the left which forces Lecomte to make a save. The MHSC escapes as best it can.
Bakker almost injures a spectator (37th)
Lille corner poorly pushed back. At 18 meters, Bakker takes the ball as it comes. His left missile goes far. Fortunately there was a net behind the goals to protect the spectators.

Yellow card for Mukau (26th)
Big sole from Ngal’ayel Mukau on Téji Savanier. The Lille community is logically warned.
Big comeback from Al-Tamari (24th)
On a Lille counter-attack, Fernandez-Pardo escapes to the left and thinks about heading for goal, but striker Al-Tamari stops him with a superb and risky sliding tackle. The public appreciates it.
Two Hérault corners which give nothing (23rd)
Right corner for Montpellier taken by Savanier. Ferri volleys at the first post. He is blocked at close range. The second corner doesn’t do anything either.
The attacks do not go to the end (19th)

The MHSC worst defense in Europe (17th)

Dangerous strike from Montpellier (15th)
Great work from Tchato on the right side for the MHSC. He transmits to Al-Tamari who enters the axis and shoots with the left at ground level. Chevalier dives to his left and ensures by diverting for a corner.
Cabella and David are looking for each other (12th)
Cabella tries to speed up the game and finds David with his back to goal in the area. The Lille player cannot find his teammate. The MHSC wards off the danger.
Yellow card for Maksimovic (9th)
Poorly pressed back header from Khazri. Maksimovic is far behind Mukau and hits the Lille player. The Montpellier defender is warned.
Cabella unscrews in turn (8th)

The players enter the pitch
The weather is nice in Montpellier, the sun lights up half of the field. Lots of empty seats in the stands. The temperature is around 15 degrees.
Lille with Mukau, Fernandez-Pardo and Cabella
Mukau, hero of the victory in Bologna, is once again in the heart of the game. Fernandez-Pardo and Cabella will liven up the corridors. Haraldsson is on the bench. Zhegrova is out.
The Lille eleven: Chevalier – Bakker, Alexsandro, Diakité, Mandi – Bouaddi, André – Fernandez-Pardo, Mukau, Cabella – David
Montpellier with Omeragic, Savanier and Khazri
No surprises at MHSC apart from Omeragic starting in defense rather than Sagnan. Ferri, suspended against Saint-Étienne, is back in the middle. Khazri is aligned at the forefront. Kouyaté, Fahad and Adams are injured.
The Montpellier eleven: Lecomte – Sylla, Omeragic, Maksimovic, Tchato – Chotard, Ferri – Nordin, Savanier, Al-Tamari – Khazri
Lille has the wind at its back
Undefeated for twelve matches in all competitions, LOSC is 4th in L1, one point off the podium and behind Marseille. Bruno Genesio’s players are also in a good 12th place in the Champions League after their success in Bologna last Wednesday (1-2).
Montpellier, the evil continues
The MHSC, where Jean-Louis Gasset succeeded Michel Der Zakarian on the bench, raised its head by beating Brest (3-1) before losing a shock from the bottom of the table to Saint-Etienne last week (1 -0). The Héraultais are last in Ligue 1 with four points behind Nantes, play-offs.
